"Marco Polo Wine Bar™" is a registered trade mark in Cyprus, and after 11 months of meticulous interior design, opened it's doors to the public in September of 1991. The interior design is second to none, based on an old English pub, with a continental flavour added. The walls are decorated in numerous period items ranging from swords and daggers, to manacles and fishing nets. The name "Marco Polo" was decided upon due to his adventurous explorations around the world, and as all our clientelle are of mixed nationalities, we felt it appropriate. Since first opening our doors in September of 1991 we have received many customers from all over the globe including countries such as the U.K.,U.S.A.,Russia,France,Germany,Switzerland,Austria,Canada,Argentina,Australia,India,and not to mention numerous others. We pride ourselves on first class service, and offer a friendly, relaxed atmosphere to all our international clientelle.
